At the time, the entire jewellery collection could fit into a small shoebox, a humble beginning that reflected the scale of the venture. Vivi was the sole employee, carefully managing every aspect of the business while gradually laying the foundation for something larger.

By 2017, Sisi Copenhagen began gaining traction. The growing collection moved from the shoebox into a small cabinet, symbolising the brand’s steady development. More customers were discovering the brand’s delicate designs, and the business slowly began establishing itself within Denmark’s jewellery landscape.

Growing Into a Recognised Jewellery Brand

The following years marked rapid growth. By 2018, Sisi Copenhagen had been doubling in size each year since its founding. Sales increased significantly, prompting Vivi to hire her first colleague. The brand’s expanding collection soon outgrew its cabinet, and an entire room was dedicated to housing the jewellery.

The company continued to evolve, and by 2020 the growing workload led to the hiring of its first full-time employee. With expansion came the need for larger premises, marking yet another milestone in the brand’s journey. In 2021, Sisi Copenhagen experienced a particularly eventful year. Vivi’s partner, Christian, joined the company, and the brand expanded internationally by launching websites for customers in Norway, Sweden, and across the European Union.

The same year also marked the opening of Sisi Copenhagen’s first physical store and headquarters, creating a space where customers could step directly into the brand’s jewellery universe. Around this time, the company also introduced its Fine Jewelry collection—crafted from 9 kt solid gold—signalling a step into more exclusive materials.

Awards, Innovation, and Looking Ahead

Sisi Copenhagen’s growth continued in the years that followed. After the 2022 financial results, the company received its first Gazelle Award, an important recognition for a business that had started from such modest beginnings. The brand also celebrated reaching its first 100,000 orders, a milestone that reflected the trust and loyalty of its growing customer base.

In 2023, Sisi Copenhagen launched its most exclusive offering yet—the Diamond Collection, featuring ethically produced lab-grown diamonds. The same year brought another achievement when the company received its second Gazelle Award, further validating its remarkable growth.

Today, Sisi Copenhagen continues to evolve. In 2024, the brand has begun exploring custom-designed jewellery, allowing customers to bring their personal jewellery dreams to life. With many ideas and ambitions on the horizon, the company remains committed to building on its story while continuing to refine its craft.
